1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Softvow service (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least the age of majority in your province/territory, or have permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.

4. Host responsibilities (guest contact permissions)

If you upload or enter guest contact information (email/phone), you represent that you have the authority and permission to contact those guests and to provide that information to us for the purpose of sending invitations and managing RSVPs.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • upload personal information you do not have permission to share
  • attempt to bypass security or access other users' data

6. User generated content (UGC)

If you enable guestbook or guest photo uploads, you are responsible for moderating your event settings. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service and its software. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to host and display it solely to provide the Service.

8. Plans, fees, and taxes

Prices are displayed in CAD unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes (GST/HST) may be added at checkout. Plan duration and features are shown on the pricing page.

9. Keep Forever

If you purchase a "Keep Forever" feature, it provides long-term access as described at checkout and in our retention policy. It does not guarantee indefinite availability in all circumstances (for example, force majeure). Define the minimum retention period clearly.

10. Refunds

Refund rules are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference. See our Refund Policy page.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
